How the CV Builder handles your details
Last updated: 29 July 2026
The short version: we don't keep anything. Your details exist to write your CV. Then they're gone.
What you give us
Whatever you type into the wizard: your name, contact details, city, work history, education, languages and certifications. If your airline asks for them, also an optional photo and physical details (age, nationality, height, arm reach, weight, visible tattoos). You choose what to fill in.
What happens when you click Generate
- Your details travel over an encrypted connection to our CV engine (a Cloudflare Worker).
- The engine passes your text to Claude, an AI service that writes the professional wording of your CV.
- The finished wording comes back to your browser. You review and edit everything there.
- Your CV files (PDF and Word) are created on your own device. They are never uploaded anywhere.
Your photo
The AI never sees or analyses your photo. It only goes into the CV file itself.
Before your photo leaves your device, we remove its hidden metadata (EXIF), including any GPS location your camera may have saved in the file.
What we store
Nothing. There is no account and no database. We set no cookies, and nothing here follows you around the internet. Your details live in your browser tab and disappear when you close it.
Three small technical exceptions, none of which contains anything you typed:
- To protect the service from abuse, our engine counts how many CVs each internet address generates. The counter deletes itself within one hour.
- The review step can show a small Cloudflare human check. It looks at technical signals from your browser to tell humans from bots. It never sees what you typed.
- We count steps, not people. When you reach a step, such as the review screen or the download screen, the tool adds 1 to that step's counter for the day. Nothing travels with it: no name, no email, no number that marks the visit as yours. So we can see that 40 people reached the download screen yesterday. We cannot see whether you were one of them. It shows us where the tool confuses people. It cannot show us who you are.
The AI service
The provider does not use what you send to train its AI models. API data is kept only briefly for safety monitoring, then deleted. You can read their commercial terms and privacy policy.
Who is responsible
CabinCrewdemy (Georgiana Copin) runs this tool and decides how it handles your details. Two companies help us run it: Cloudflare, Inc. hosts and protects the service (their privacy policy), and Anthropic, PBC provides the AI writing. Both are US companies certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your choices and your rights
- Nothing is sent before you tick the consent box on the review step.
- The photo and physical details are optional. The wizard tells you when an airline expects them.
- Under EU law (GDPR) you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Because we store nothing, there is usually nothing to delete. Still, ask us anything, any time: sky@cabincrewdemy.com.
- You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
The CV Builder is made for adults applying for cabin crew jobs. It is not aimed at children.
